Potable Water, Water Treatment, Iraq

Simpson Environmental Corp., through an affiliated company in Baghdad, Iraq was selected as the preferred vendor and subsequently was contracted to supply process wastewater and treatment systems for two brand new slaughterhouses being constructed for the Ministry of Agricultures. The wastewater systems were specified to handle 100 gallons per minute in effluent and included chemical and DAF treatment systems. The DAF systems shown below were designed and built by SEC. The treated discharge water was used for local irrigation purposes. The system was built in Canada, shipped via ocean freight and over the road carriers to final destination with final installation, commissioning and support provided by Simpson’s affiliate in Iraq.
