Aquaculture Shrimp Farm, New England

Aquaculture, Water & Air Treatment, United States

Simpson Environmental was approached by a prospective client in New England to provide an ozonation system for a shrimp farm harvesting operation. The client was experiencing a high level of bacteria in the salt water baths used for the species. Following extensive research, Simpson determined the safe level of residual dissolved ozone for this type of species. A 15 gram per hour ozonation system was provided to the client. Proper disinfection/bacteria control was achieved and the client was able to increase its profitability by minimizing product wastage in the operation.
